    • First you need to create the web site and web server like you have done.
    • Next you need to register a .com address.
    • After that you'll need to make sure you have an fast internet connection with a static ip address. The upload speed is what counts.
    • Once you have all of the above, you need to point the .com address to your static ip address in your web site's DNS settings. This can be done through the company you bought the .com address from. If you have more than one computer on the internet connection, you'll need to forward port 80 to the web server in the router.

Note: A web site will not handle any kind of significant internet traffic on a home internet connection. I've tried.

Well i didn't purchase it yet i just can't figure out how to navigate that site you linked me to "http://www.1and1.com/?k_id=8083987" i can't find the domain registration/forwarding option. Or is there any other Domain Registration and forwarding services that might be easier and cheaper to use?

All you have to do is type the address in the box next to www. on the top right of the page. Change the .us or what ever is in the domain box to .com and then click Check. If the domain is available, just follow the instructions.
